Our Ministry
The ministry of Grace places significant emphasis on directing hearts towards God, nurturing spiritual growth, and extending compassion to the community. These core values encapsulate the essence of the Christian faith, highlighting the importance of love in all aspects of life. Thus, our church is committed to fostering a culture of Worship, nurturing Discipleship, engaging in local Outreach initiatives, and supporting global Missions endeavors.
Worship
Jesus summarized the entire "law and the prophets" by saying that we are to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, and minds. Loving God is is not merely a Sunday activity but should be the focal point around which all else revolves. At Grace on Main, our chief purpose is to be a community that places worship at the forefront of all that we do.
Discipleship
Jesus also gave a second "great" commandment, which he said was like the first. It calls us to "love our neighbors as we love ourselves." Love demonstrates that we are true followers of Jesus Christ. Thus, we are committed to becoming a caring and discipling community.
Outreach
The very last words Jesus spoke to His disciples before He ascended were in the form of a parting charge. We have been commissioned to be His witnesses of the good news of God's saving grace. Therefore, we are charged to reach out into the community.
Missions
In addition to being a witness to the local community, Jesus' last words included taking God's glorious gospel to every nation. The fourth part of our ministry concerns our commitment to the global mission of the church by supporting other gospel-centered ministries locally, nationally and internationally.
Education
Chelsea Tutorials, an outreach of Grace on Main, provides classes to support the home-educated student. Our team comprises Bible-believing Christians who seek to bring Jesus and the truth of the gospel to bear in all subject matter.
